Well School has started once again, and we at the computer department have been having a rather tough time of it. Unfortunately, the Bingham computer network has been the victim of a rather nasty computer virus which has been playing havoc with all of our computers, much to the dismay and frustration of all of the staff. New Year’s Motorbike Trip

So Brian’s Dad arrived on time and with all of his luggage which was a real answer to prayer. He did say that the trip was the worst of his life and that he won’t be doing another like that in his life. He flew from Chico Airport (his home town) -San Francisco-Toronto-Frankfurt-Vienna-Cairo-Addis. Literally halfway round the world to get to Ethiopia. Christmas Vacations

So I’ll try to summarise my last week, what we got up to.We left on Monday Morning to catch an early flight to a town called Dira Dawa. One of the things I love most about Ethiopian vacations is that doing little or no planning is not a problem. Christmas Time!

So it’s now Christmas time, school finished up for the year yesterday. I’m not sure whether the students or teachers were more excited. Many of the other teachers are going away to exciting and exotic locations all around the world. Some are travelling home, some on holidays. Not many are actually staying in Ethiopia! Grade 7 Dinner

So it’s now well into December and Christmas break is approaching fast. Time here at Bingham seems to go by so much faster getting close to a break and now is no different. Teachers here are organising what to do over the break; Brian and I are still figuring out some things to do, and are hoping to take a trip over Christmas day, before his Dad arrives.
