Again another two weeks since I last posted, although I hope that I can post more often from now on, since we've just managed to get internet at our house. Weekend trip to Awassa

Continuing to enjoy my new location, settling down well into life outside of SIM. These past few weeks we've been looking for furniture, especially a new sofa and a wardrobe for my bedroom. Back to the city.

So I've arrived back in Addis Ababa, from my time down in Langano. I cut my planned 3 week stay short by a week, mainly because Brian and Laura, my friends who I was staying and working with, were driving back up on Sunday and I decided to take the opportunity of an easy lift back to Addis, rather than getting the public transport here. A new house.

Wow, sorry it's been so long since I posted an update here. A lot has changed in the last week or so, and my access to internet has been drastically reduced!! I've finished moving house. It has been a very busy week of moving furniture, possessions etc. The house did not come with any furniture so we were responsible for sourcing or buying all of the things that we needed. Happy St. Patrick's Day

We have moved on in language school to reading various fairy tales. We've just finished Goldilocks (though the Ethiopian version ends much more happily than any version I remember), and are about to move on to Cinderella.
